I just came back from Rio de Janeiro celebrating my friend Mireille's  birthday.

We stayed at the Marina All Suite hotel, in Leblon, in a freshly renovated suite, with a fun contemporary aesthetic.

4 days and 4 nights, playing, dancing, drinking and making memories.

We ended our wild weekend by heading to the Iguassu falls and staying in the beautiful hotel Das Cataratas, a traditional Portuguese colonial residence.

There are 2 sides to view the Iguassu falls, from the Brazilian side or the Argentinian side.

From the Brazilian side

The Argentinian side offered an unparalleled view of the falls.

The weather was breathtaking, and the falls were just roaring in a majestic and powerful way.

I think this pictures speaks louder than me trying to depict the incredible scenery.

On the little tchu tchu train taking us to the Devil's throat.

On our way down, we saw a little alligator chilling..

and a beautiful chameleon butterfly on a tree..

Indeed the Igassu falls  are one of the seven wonders of the world.
